The Rev Peter Smith was appointed in 2001 and currently serves as the Rector (Senior Minister). Pete is married to Shelley and they have four children. Pete loves cycling, chatting over a coffee, and helping others find true meaning and life in Christ.
Bishop Tony Nichols ministers the Word every first Sunday of the month, leads a Men's Bible Study Group and heads up our Mission Committee. A wealth of wisdom and insight, Bishop Tony is always available for a helpful chat, or if you'd like to receive a master lesson in chess.
Judith is our part-time Women's Worker. Judith leads Bible Study groups, and gives support and training to the women at Dalkeith Anglican. Married to Tony, Judith is a mother of four and grandmother of nine. Judith's warmth and sense of humour are an apt foil for her academic expertise in church history, in which she has a PhD.
Mark is our Assistant Minister. Mark leads our Youth and Young Adults ministries, and helps oversee our 5pm service. Before retraining for pastoral ministry, Mark studied Commerce and worked in the City. Mark is married to Kate, has recently become a father, and is a keen rugby supporter.
Barbara coordinates our pastoral care, especially of those who are ill or incapacitated, and also heads up our children's ministry team, responsible for KidsChurch during our Sunday services. Barbara is married to Larry, and they have four adult children and seven grandchildren.
Larry generously volunteers as our Business Manager, doing the vital role of taking care of administrative and compliance matters, and enabling the pastoral staff to focus on core ministry. Larry is married to Barbara, and has served in overseas Christian mission for over 30 years.
Philly is our Trainee Children's Worker, and oversees the St Lawrence's Playgroup on Friday mornings. Originally from the UK, Philly is a mum of three.
